The Night Shift Cocktail Competition returns on April 28 and continues through July as Las Vegas bartenders go head-to-head in a bracket-style showdown showcasing their most inventive cocktails and creative techniques.

Hosted at Esther’s Kitchen in Downtown Las Vegas, the four monthly installments will feature competitors selected by Beverage Director Tucker St. John (pictured in the main photo by Timeless Hospitality Portfolio), with each event inviting the public to sip, dine and cheer on their favorite contestants.

Cocktails, beer and shot stations will be open for guests to keep spirits high and libations flowing. Current industry bartenders who are 21+ and interested in applying can submit their applications here. All skill levels are welcome. 

More than a competition, The Night Shift Cocktail Competition is designed as a community-driven experience bringing together industry professionals and enthusiasts to connect, celebrate and support one another.

While the stakes are high, the spirit of the series remains rooted in collaboration, creativity and camaraderie, fostering an environment that highlights the depth of talent across the Las Vegas hospitality scene.

“Our team at Esther’s and Suntory can’t wait to see what creations come out of these competitions,” says St. John. “More importantly, we’re proud of what events like this can do for our industry and our community, giving people a chance to connect while showcasing each other’s talent here in Las Vegas.”

The kickoff event is 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at Esther’s Kitchen in The Arts District. Subsequent event dates will be announced in the coming weeks. Music by DJ Nightweapons, and food by Steven Lee of In Limbo.
