A lucky local struck it big the evening of Thursday, April 9, taking home a $1.6 million Mega Grand Jackpot at The Resort at Summerlin. The winner, who is a Resort at Summerlin regular, landed the payout while playing Dollar Storm on a $30 bet last Thursday.

The Resort at Summerlin is a luxury destination 20 minutes northwest of the Las Vegas Strip. The resort is a gateway to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, TPC Las Vegas and other golf courses and attractions.

The property includes JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa with 549 rooms and suites nestled among 54 acres of landscaping and gardens, a full-service spa, state-of-the-art fitness center and 35 meeting rooms with 110,000 square feet of space.

The Neighborhood Food Hall features Ai Pazzi Pizza, Pearls Oyster & Crudo Bar, Nom Wah (the first West Coast location of New York City’s oldest dim sum restaurant) and Los Angeles street food favorites Tacos 1986 and For the Win.

The 63,000-square-foot casino features 1,670 slot machines, 300-seat Bingo Room, 31 table games such as Blackjack, Craps with 10X odds, Roulette, Face-Up Pai Gow Poker, two High Limit Slots Rooms and the new Caesars Race & Sportsbook.
