There will be a new champion as three-time defending victor and The Linq Promenade headliner magician Farrell Dillon isn’t taking part this year.
There will be a new champion in this year’s seventh-annual pretzel-eating contest at Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas across the street from Virgin Hotels Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. (contest) and 7:30 p.m. (keg tapping) on Saturday, April 25.
Hofbräuhaus is once again celebrating National Pretzel Day with its local celebrity pretzel-eating contest, bringing together influencers, media personalities and entertainers for a salty showdown. The winner will score bragging rights and a $1,000 donation to their charity of choice and tap the first Hofbräu Maibock keg.
A rich, seasonal brew imported from Munich, Germany, Hofbräu Maibock is one of the oldest Bavarian beers rich in color and flavor with an ABV of 7.2%. Tradition states that the first barrel of this full-bodied brew must be tapped the last week of April in time to be enjoyed for the entire merry month of May.
This year’s participants (my money is on Elliott Bambrough; three-time defending champ and The Linq Promenade headliner magician Farrell Dillon isn’t taking part this year):
