Las Vegas-based Ink Films has announced a multicity U.S. theatrical rollout for “DJ Ahmet,” the Sundance-winning debut feature from Macedonian filmmaker Georgi M. Unkovski on April 3 at IFC Center in New York and Vidiots in Los Angeles, expanding to additional markets nationwide this spring and summer.
A breakout hit at the Sundance Film Festival and one of the festival’s most-talked-about debuts, “DJ Ahmet” earned World Cinema Dramatic Audience and World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury for Creative Vision awards.
