Pride of Philly Steaks Reopens With Food Truck

On Thursday, March 19, my brother Charles Chareunsy and I attended the grand reopening of owner Christina Walton’s Pride of Philly Steaks (501 S. Decatur Blvd. and open 24 hours) and the launch of their food truck! This was my first time at POPS, which opened in 2002, and I enjoyed it.

We ordered two peppers and mushroom cheesesteaks (No. 32) with onions (the top-seller at POPS), one with cheese whiz and the other with provolone, loaded fries, fried mozzarella and mac and cheese (which were served by Las Vegas showgirls) and bottles of Coke (sadly, no Coke Zero).

Check back to VegasPublicity.com for an interview with Walton, who said our two cheesesteaks were her favorites, as well.
