“Undertale is a game with a lot of music,” said Toby Fox, game creator and composer. “It’s good when skilled professionals play the music and people listen to it.”
This fall fans will have the chance to experience the music of the beloved indie game Undertale live on stage when Undertale: The Determination Symphony headlines Resorts World Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 19, at 10 a.m. PT via AXS.com.
Curated by game creator and composer Toby Fox, Undertale: The Determination Symphony brings the score of the hit game to life through newly arranged music performed by a 25-piece orchestra.
Accompanied by gameplay footage projected above the stage, the concert immerses audiences in the world of Undertale, creating an emotional musical journey through the Underground unlike any other.
Concertgoers will follow the story’s path through locations including the Ruins, Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland and New Home. Along the way, the music re-creates the game’s characters, battles and moments that have made Undertale a cultural phenomenon since its release in 2015.
“Undertale is a game with a lot of music,” said Fox. “It’s good when skilled professionals play the music and people listen to it.” Fans are encouraged to attend in their favorite Undertale cosplay* as part of the celebration, and exclusive tour merchandise will be available at the venue.
Developed by Lambert Jackson with Materia Music for the 10th anniversary of Undertale, the concert features arrangements by Adam Hoskins created for the anniversary celebration and expanded for the international tour.
