“Monster Mash on Main” and Halloween Movie Nights Bring Spooky Excitement to The District at Green Valley Ranch

The District at Green Valley Ranch is thrilled to unveil its new and improved Halloween event “Monster Mash on Main.”

On Oct. 31 from 4-7 p.m., The District will host “Monster Mash on Main,” an evening brimming with Halloween fun and fright. Attendees can enjoy encounters with roaming Halloween characters such as Mr. and Mrs. Dracula, Mr. and Mrs. Frankenstein, a mummy, and a werewolf.

Children will have the chance to trick-or-treat at participating tenants at The District. During the event, Market in The Alley will offer a variety of unique treats, crafts, and Halloween-themed merchandise.

A highlight of the evening will be a costume contest with categories for babies to three years old, four to seven years old, and eight to 10 years old, with prizes awarded to winners in each group.

Fog machines will add an eerie ambiance, ensuring a spooktacular experience for all. Families are encouraged to wear their best costumes and join in the festivities.

Additionally, The District will host complimentary Halloween-themed family movies every Saturday in October at sunset on The Green, located on Village Walk Drive adjacent to Whole Foods.

Seating is first come, first served, starting at 6 p.m., so guests should arrive early with their chairs and blankets. Each movie night will also feature partnerships with nonprofit organizations, including Homeward Bound Cats, Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, and Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. Representatives from these organizations will be available to share information about their missions and programs.

• Oct. 12 | Hocus Pocus with Heaven Can Wait Animal Society
• Oct. 19 | Viewer’s Choice: Nightmare Before Christmas or Corpse Bride with Homeward Bound Cats
• Oct. 26 | Viewer’s Choice: Hotel Transylvania or Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone with Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth
