The teams at Blue Ribbon Restaurants and Station Casinos are excited to announce the debut of Ortikia Mediterranean Grill at Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa & Casino, set to open on Monday, June 3. Following the recent launch of Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill, Ortikia is the latest addition to Green Valley Ranch’s ongoing property-wide transformation.
This new 168-seat Mediterranean wood-fire grill will offer the culinary thrill of a coastal seafood market combined with the vibrant atmosphere of an upscale dinner party, all within a beautifully designed space. Created by Venice, CA-based boutique agency Studio Collective, this eagerly awaited restaurant promises to be a dynamic, lively destination for both Las Vegas locals and visitors.
At the heart of the restaurant is an open-concept kitchen featuring a custom-crafted live fire grill and rotisserie by Italy-based Clay Oven, a wood-burning oven, and a fresh seafood display, all highlighted by a stunning copper range hood. An intimate counter allows guests to watch the bustling kitchen in action.
The menu, inspired by Mediterranean staples, will include salt-baked and grilled seafood, rotisserie-cooked meats, and flame-kissed vegetables, complemented by Greek-inspired appetizers and a world-class seafood counter and crudo bar. Notable dishes from the grill include “Lavraki,” a Mediterranean Sea Bass with anchovies and saffron, “Souvlaki Hirino,” pork shoulder with peppers, onions, and cherry tomatoes, and “Vodino,” a veal chop with marjoram, pistachio, and ouzo.
Located just off the casino floor in the resort’s new promenade, the restaurant features opaque windows that offer glimpses inside, sparking curiosity among guests. Upon entering through an inconspicuous door, diners are greeted by the aromas and sounds of an open-flame grill, creating the feel of a seaside retreat. A lively bar and lounge area invites guests to enjoy a drink or small bite before their meal, with an expansive mirrored back bar reflecting the magic happening throughout the intimate space.
Inside the main dining room, a textured curved ceiling evokes the rooftops of Greece, while custom chandeliers mimic twinkling string lights, allowing the space to transform throughout the evening. Plush banquette seating provides sightlines over the dining room and the open-air kitchen, set against a hand-painted mural by Katherine Meredith, adding to the ambiance.
