Featuring fresh, seasonal flavors and ingredients, the new starters and entrees are available now
CHĪ Asian Kitchen, located within The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower and serving an array of authentic and reimagined Chinese and other Asian dishes, has unveiled a selection of elevated additions to its menu. The new offerings include an array of starters and entrées, showcasing bold flavors and fresh ingredients.
Standout new starters, ideal for sharing, include Korean short rib skewers, Kalbi marinated short ribs and pickled cucumber, priced at $21; shrimp toast made with shrimp, egg, water chestnuts, celery, scallions, furikake and spicy mayo, priced at $14; and Vietnamese egg rolls with shrimp, pork, vermicelli noodles, crisp lettuce and dipping sauce, priced at $13.
Elevated entrées include Peking duck served with steamed buns and bok choy, priced at $52 for a half duck and $90 for a whole duck; wok-charred lobster, a 10-ounce lobster tail accompanied by stir-fried noodles and ginger sake sauce, priced at $48; and salt and pepper shrimp, stir-fried shrimp with spicy salt and pepper sauce, priced at $24. Guests can also indulge in new noodle and rice selections including the homestyle tofu featuring fried tofu, pan-fried egg noodles, mushrooms, Napa cabbage, baby corn, scallions and garlic and ginger sauce, priced at $21; and the Peking duck fried rice with garlic, ginger, Peking duck, crispy duck skin and egg, priced at $20.
The delectable dishes can be enjoyed alongside a selection of soups, such as pho with rice noodles, beef broth, rare steak, scallions, onions, cilantro, bean sprouts, lime, jalapeños and Thai basil, priced at $21; or spicy beef tan tan udon with ground beef, scallions, bean sprouts, cilantro and spicy miso-sesame, priced at $17.
CHĪ serves an array of signature cocktails, including the Nippon Old Fashioned crafted with Frey Ranch straight rye whiskey, spiced cherry reduction, Hinoki Japanese bitters, Angostura aromatic bitters; the Heart of the Dragon with Ciroc peach vodka, Lillet Rose aperitivo, lychee, yuzu, cranberry wash and rose water; and the Confucius’ Smile crafted with Casamigos reposado tequila, Chinola passion fruit liqueur, Lilikoi, lime, vanilla and cardamom, all priced at $18.
Reminiscent of a bustling Chinese alley restaurant, the street-inspired interior includes a variety of traditional and unique design touches and décor.
