First Responders Honor 9/11 Victims with a 1,455-Step Climb to the Top of The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower (w/ Video)
To honor every first responder who lost their life on Sept. 11, 2001, more than 340 local firefighters, police, EMTs and military personnel, many dressed in full gear, participated in their annual 1,455-step club to the top of The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower yesterday morning.
Las Vegas firefighters climbed in full gear, and each participant wore a lanyard displaying a photo of a fallen firefighter, representing those whose lives were lost.
Following the event, participants, plus family and friends, raised a glass at PT’s Wings & Sports in memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice 23 years ago.
