September is Childhood Cancer Awareness & October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The American Cancer Society hosted its 2025 Game Changer Gala Kickoff Par-TEA last night (Thursday, September 19) at Christopher Homes SkyVu in Henderson.
During the event, ACS announced the 2025 American Cancer Society’s Game Changer Gala Honorees, a group of community leaders who have chosen to focus their influence and resources in the fight against cancer in Las Vegas and advancing the work of the American Cancer Society.
The 2025 Game Changer Gala, presented by Findlay Automotive Group, will be held on Saturday, March 1 at the Keep Memory Alive Event Center. Tyler Corder, Chief Financial Officer of Findlay Automotive Group will serve as the gala chair.
The “Hatters Mad Enough to Fight Cancer” themed gala will feature a Mad Hatter Tea Party concept with live entertainment, fine dining cuisine, a mission paddle raise, and more.
Event proceeds will go to support equity in cancer care for all by fueling research breakthroughs in cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and survivorship; direct patient support and education for cancer patients, caregivers, and clinicians; and advocacy aimed at providing equitable access to care.
