Rodney T. Burr, Chief Judge of the Henderson Municipal Court, has determined that temporary alterations to current court procedure are necessary to further protect the health, safety and well-being of the community. Effective immediately, the Henderson Municipal Court will operate under the following procedures:
- All currently scheduled court hearings from Nov. 30-Dec. 31 for criminal and traffic arraignments, criminal and traffic trials, specialty courts, and status checks will be continued for five weeks (35 days) from the date of the currently scheduled hearing.
- In-custody video arraignments will be held each business day.
- The Court and customer service windows will remain open.
The Court encourages the use of electronic communications with the Henderson City Attorney’s Office/Criminal Division for the possible resolution of cases set for trial.
