UFC Champions Dine at Barry’s Downtown Prime

Downtown Las Vegas’ lavish and modernized restaurant, Barry’s Downtown Prime is no stranger when it comes to serving big appetites to acclaimed UFC Champions.

Brazilian UFC Lightweight Champion, Charles Oliveira, and Puerto Rican rapper and singer, Anuel AA joined one another for a triumphal dinner at the steakhouse after Charles’ big win. Anuel AA’s collaboration with Olivier in his fight against Dustin Poirier featured his solo album, “Las Leyendas Nunca Mueren” highlighting his appreciation for cultural idols. After the fight, Oliveira left the arena keeping his title as UFC’s Lightweight Champion. Anuel AA and Oliveira’s private dinner was celebrated at the Chef’s Table room filled with honor and praise. After their well-deserved and personalized dinner, Co-owners Chef Barry Dakake and Yassine Lyoubi accompanied the guests with gratitude and captured the moment together with a photograph.

Owner Barry Dakake was also seen playfully posing in a photo with UFC Champion Julianna Peña as she was dining along with UFC Welterweight fighter, Michael Chiesa known as “Maverick”. Julianna is known for her titled victory after an astonishing win over the well-known UFC Champion Amanda Nunes who had an unbreakable streak of 12 victories. The huge upset against Nunez highlighted the Bantamweight Division as Peña claimed the belt announcing her as the new champion.

Fierce fighter Kamaru Usman known as, “The Nigerian Nightmare” isn’t shy when it comes to eating a fulfilling meal. He is recognized as the first African-born Nigerian to attain his title in history. From Usman’s notable knockout punch against Jorge Masvidal to his brutal match with Colby Covington, he is always looking for a challenge. His appetite for more has led him back to Barry’s every time before his next match.

Also seen dining at the steakhouse is UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko known as the “Bullet”. After her big match with Lauren Murphy, she was able to retain her flyweight champion title. Valentina’s older sister, Antonina Shevchenko is also competing in the Flyweight Division with her sister’s support along the way. With such a strong and tough family, Barry’s steakhouse knows how to fuel them up for any event.

UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou is always given a warm welcome back by the restaurant owners as he frequently enjoys his meals with close friends and family. Ngannou’s inspirational life story has illustrated the many hardships he endured to become the noble fighter he is today. Despite Ngannou not feeling prepared to go against his opponent, UFC Champion Stipe Miocic, he earned his first win and title in the UFC Heavyweight Division. Chef Barry is always delighted to have such an honorable fighter enjoy his meal in bustling Downtown Las Vegas.

All of these renowned UFC Champions have left the steakhouse in all smiles and full of energy. It goes to show why this eatery is popular amongst great winners. It’s easy to find a great place to eat in Vegas, but to dine like a champion is not far when you’re dining at Barry’s Downtown Prime.
