Guest donations to be matched by the restaurant
During the month of April, Lawry’s The Prime Rib Las Vegas will match a portion of the money raised by guests to benefit Opportunity Village and its mission to enhance the lives of Southern Nevadans with intellectual and related disabilities through vocational training, community employment, day services, advocacy, arts and social recreation.
“We are proud to partner with Opportunity Village throughout April and educate our guests on the integral role this organization plays in the Las Vegas community,” said Tanya Phillips, Lawry’s The Prime Rib Las Vegas general manager. “Lawry’s co-founder, Lawrence L. Frank, prioritized helping those with intellectual disabilities, and we’re looking forward to doing so on a local level. We encourage our guests to stop by our restaurant, enjoy some delicious food and donate to a great cause.”
This month-long initiative also comes with perks for Lawry’s loyalty members. For each $10 donation up to $50, VIP Rewards guests will receive a $25 bonus reward on their loyalty account to use the next time they dine at any of Lawry’s restaurants.
Non-loyalty members will receive $25 rewards should they donate a minimum of $10 and choose to sign up for the VIP Rewards program.
“Opportunity Village is truly grateful for Lawry’s The Prime Rib and their team, whose continued dedication has made a difference in the lives of so many,” Opportunity Village Vice President of Philanthropy Stacy Ostrau said. “As we commemorate 70 years, we thank Lawry’s for their unwavering dedication to empowering people with disabilities.”
