Sports Betting Venture from Derek Stevens Makes Southwest Las Vegas Debut – New Silverton Sportsbook to Open March 2024
Circa Sports, the Las Vegas sports betting brand from CEO Derek Stevens, has officially arrived at Las Vegas casino-hotel Silverton Casino Lodge.
Debuting within a temporary book, this marks Circa Sports’ fifth satellite location in southern Nevada and first in southwest Las Vegas. The venture’s permanent sportsbook at Silverton will open in March – just in time for March Mania.
The temporary Circa Sportsbook is located next to Shady Grove Bar and Lounge and consists of two betting windows, two self-serving betting kiosks, and four TV screens displaying odds. Bettors can catch all the day’s game at the adjacent bar, which offers a multitude of TV screens for guests to watch the action.
Hours for the book are from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily, with hours fluctuating on peak demand days.
The permanent book will be located with ease of access in mind next to Silverton’s parking garage and with parking reserved for Circa Sports players. The 1,600-square-foot book will feature a variety of seating options to enjoy games, including:
- A Daktronics screen that can be configured to show games from all major sports leagues and other streaming services
- Three betting windows
- Three self-serving betting kiosks, odds boards and betting sheet racks
- 12 lounge chairs
- Six four-person tables
- Four six-person booths
- 22 bar top games with various ADA seating throughout the space
The new sportsbook is the next step in recent renovations for Silverton Casino Lodge. Rooms at the newly renovated lodge, which have undergone a complete $40 million renovation, are now open, creating a new boutique hotel experience to anchor the casino resort.
Also coming early this year is an all-new $10 million backyard and pool renovation called The Swimmin’ Hole, which will include poolside dining, sports and movies at the pool, cabanas, fire pits and more.
Circa Sports offers some of the best odds in the country, helmed by top industry professionals. Limits are the same for every player, whether the bettor is a novice or a sharp. Its current footprint includes four additional satellite books in Southern Nevada, including the world’s largest sportsbook at Stevens’ Circa Resort & Casino and the sportsbook at the D Las Vegas in downtown; Tuscany Suites & Casino near the Las Vegas Strip; The Pass Casino in Henderson; a physical book in Legends Bay Casino in Sparks, Nev.; a recently launched book at American Place in Waukegan, Ill.; and via mobile offerings in Illinois, Colorado, Iowa and soon, Kentucky.
