ONE Steakhouse, from brothers and third generation restaurateurs Michael Morton and David Morton, will celebrate Christmas with a prime rib dinner so delightful it should be on Santa’s nice list.
The dinner will be available exclusively on Friday, Dec. 24 and Saturday, Dec. 25 at the brothers’ popular restaurant located inside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton.
Expertly prepared by Executive Chef Patrick Munster, a 20-ounce cut of prime rib roast will be seasoned with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce and fresh rosemary, and then finished with ONE Steakhouse’s signature steak salt blend. The prime rib will be accompanied by butter-braised marble potatoes, herb au jus and creamy horseradish, and priced at $74. Anthony Ramirez, wine director at ONE Steakhouse, recommends pairing the prime rib with the Groth Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 from Oakville in Napa Valley, a wine known for its abundance of tannins and aromas of sweet vanilla and allspice, followed by black currants, ripe plums and a savory hint of anise.
ONE Steakhouse’s full menu will also be available, including seasonal dishes. They include a double cut Berkshire pork chop with a bourbon glaze; creamy, smoked gouda polenta with butternut squash; and a golden beet salad tossed with arugula, Midnight Moon aged goat cheese and crispy serrano ham.
ONE Steakhouse is open daily at 5 p.m. and can be found just steps away from the hotel’s valet on Harmon Avenue. Reservations may be made by calling 702-522-8111 or visiting www.onesteakhouselv.com.
