The Beverly Theater isn’t just showing movies this July; it’s creating new ways to experience them. The month’s lineup introduces Final Girl Film Club, launches monthlong “Twin Peaks” Tuesdays, expands Pick-It Ticket screenings and showcases four celebrated 4K restorations alongside an eclectic mix of repertory favorites, new independent films including “Backrooms” and signature programs.

New: Final Girl Film Club

The month’s biggest addition is Final Girl Film Club, a new monthly series created in partnership with Blockbuster Wives that mixes nostalgic favorites with themed activities, specialty cocktails and post-film conversation.

The inaugural gathering Thursday, July 23, features “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005).” Following the screening, guests are invited to continue the evening at Segue with themed drinks, activities and conversations inspired by the film’s celebration of friendship and early-2000s nostalgia. Dress code: denim.

“Twin Peaks” – The Entire First Season – Tuesdays in July

Every Tuesday in July, audiences can experience the complete first season of David Lynch’s groundbreaking ABC phenomenon “Twin Peaks” (1990-1991) on the big screen. The small northwest town of Twin Peaks, Wash., is shaken up when the body of homecoming queen Laura Palmer is found washed up and wrapped in plastic.

A crime drama mixed with the surreal, this series is about FBI Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan), who travels to the small logging town of Twin Peaks to solve the murder of the seemingly innocent high schooler. Almost nothing is as it seems, and the show’s eerie visuals, oddball characters and wild dream sequences drive the point home.
