Congratulations to Matthew-Loren Lindsey, aka “The Lord of Wine” on Instagram, Chef Antonio Nunez and their team on the wonderful new collaboration Parlour Wine Bar & Eatery at 1716 Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson.
A sneak peek of PWE for friends and family on the evening of Saturday, May 30, with my brother Charles Chareunsy and our friends Paige Brooks and Andrei Samfescu included:
- live music – atmospheric and at the perfect volume
- steak swapping for roasted cauliflower because the latter was sold out (twist our arms)
- halibut prepared and presented flavorfully and beautifully
- oxtail tacos
- potato puree
- charcuterie board with bread (I could eat charcuterie for days)
- Parlour Salad (the Caesar salad was sold out)
- date and bacon and whipped ricotta spreads for the bread
- cannoli and tart for dessert
- two cocktails, one of them the wine-infused Blanc de Blanco Margarita (no photo because it was imbibed too quickly) created by the charming, charismatic and always-dapper Lindsey – now a favorite cocktail
- friendly and attentive service the entire visit
