With the graduation of this latest group, Gaudin Technical Institute has now graduated 31 students since the program started in 2024.

Gaudin Technical Institute celebrated the graduation of its third class on Thursday, May 7. The ceremony honored 14 students who are becoming automotive technicians. This milestone shows how GTI is making a difference in workforce development and career opportunities in Southern Nevada.

The ceremony started with a $50,000 scholarship check presentation to Gaudin Technical Institute from the Nevada Franchised Automobile Dealers Association. This highlighted the partnership between GTI and Nevada’s automotive industry, underscoring their shared commitment to developing future technicians.

With the graduation of this latest group, Gaudin Technical Institute has now graduated 31 students since the program started in 2024. It continues its mission to meet the strong demand for skilled automotive professionals and to eliminate financial barriers to entry.

One of the most important results of the program is its economic effect on the community. Gaudin Technical Institute has removed more than $1 million in tuition fees for local students. It offers hands-on training that meets industry standards at no cost to the participants. This funding comes from individual donors, Nevada dealerships, industry partners and state support.

“Every graduating class represents more than completed coursework – it represents opportunity, momentum and meaningful change,” said Wesley Gregg, founder of Gaudin Technical Institute. “Seeing this program grow from an inaugural class to three graduating cohorts in such a short time confirms the need for accessible, career-focused education in our community.”

Gaudin Technical Institute was established to offer a clear path into the automotive industry through hands-on training, practical experience and strong employer partnerships. Graduates finish the program ready for the workforce, having gained the technical skills and confidence needed to thrive in today’s fast-changing automotive world.

As GTI continues to grow, each new graduating class strengthens the institute’s role as a vital workforce pipeline. This helps the local economy and changes lives through education without financial burden.

Gaudin Technical Institute is a Las Vegas–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to high-quality automotive education through subsidized, career-focused training. Designed to prepare students to enter the workforce job‑ready, GTI blends classroom instruction with hands-on learning in a fully operational repair shop, emphasizing real-world experience aligned with industry needs.

GTI offers industry-recognized certifications, including select Ford Service Technician Specialty Training credentials through the Ford ACE program along with certifications from BG Southern Nevada and Justice Brothers. These offerings ensure graduates develop practical, in-demand skills aligned with current workforce needs.

Supported by experienced faculty, strong industry partnerships and a knowledgeable advisory board, GTI provides graduates with job placement assistance and professional guidance as they launch careers in the automotive industry. For more information, visit GaudinTechnicalInstitute.net.
