Squeeze’s enduring appeal spans generations from classics including “Up the Junction,” “Tempted” and “Cool for Cats” to a catalog embraced by other artists.

Legendary British rock band Squeeze is bringing its 2026 North American “Tried, Tested and Trixies” Tour to Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip on Wednesday, Sept. 16, joined by guest Adam Ant. Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 8, at 10 a.m. PT at Ticketmaster.com; show is at 9 p.m.

Squeeze’s latest album “Trixies” is considered a revelation and full-circle moment. Drawn from songs Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook wrote as teens in 1974, the record reimagines a lost concept album set inside a fictional nightclub with vivid characters, shadowy storylines and sharp detail that defines their work.

Shelved due to youthful limitations, these songs have now been realized decades later, capturing the spark of their earliest collaboration with the confidence and craft of seasoned masters. Under the production of Squeeze’s bassist Owen Biddle (The Roots, John Legend, Al Green), this collection finally gets its spotlight.

Squeeze’s “Trixies” has received critical praise. Spin calls it “the duo’s personal masterpiece,” marveling at the album’s ambition and standout moments. Flood hails Difford and Tilbrook as “one of the great songwriting duos of their time,” and Spill calls it “a brilliant step back in time” that still feels strikingly current.

Brooklyn Vegan says the album captures their signature style already formed – “complex melodies that nonetheless sound effortless” and “a youthful energy that marks Squeeze’s best records” – and PopMatters praises its “immersive” world, concluding “Trixies” proves they “were always destined to be formidable artists.”

Squeeze’s enduring appeal spans generations from classics including “Up the Junction,” “Tempted” and “Cool for Cats” to a catalog embraced by artists as wide-ranging as Erykah Badu and The Shins.

In recent years, a revitalized lineup has transformed that legacy into a live show regarded as one of the strongest of their career: dynamic, sharp and newly resonant with younger audiences discovering the band through streaming.

With “Trixies” sparking a fresh wave of creativity and new material in the works, Squeeze enters this North American run not as a legacy act, but as a band in a late-period surge.
