Station Casinos brought the annual 4 Corners Food Drive to a memorable close on Monday, Oct. 5, with a $100,000 donation to Three Square Food Bank. The culminating event took place at Audacy Las Vegas studios with Mix 94.1’s Mercedes Martinez of “Mercedes in the Morning.”

The donation and event followed a monthlong campaign led by Mix 94.1 encouraging food and monetary donations to help fight hunger across Southern Nevada. As part of the campaign, Station Casinos properties donated $100,000 to the organization to conclude Hunger Action Month.

During the check presentation, Durango Casino & Resort Vice President and General Manager Dave Horn joined Three Square Philanthropy Officer Irma Mcdow and Martinez to present Three Square with the $100,000 donation.

The contribution supports Three Square’s continuing mission to provide wholesome food to hungry people while pursuing a hunger-free community across Southern Nevada. The 4 Corners Food Drive collectively raised $236,739 totaling 473,478 meals that will be provided in the community.

Mix 94.1 and its affiliate stations rallied listeners to support Three Square through on-air promotion, social media, interviews and opportunities to donate. Station Casinos’ donation further amplified those efforts and highlighted the company’s longstanding commitment to supporting and uplifting Southern Nevada.
