Las Vegas iconic dive bar Hard Hat Lounge invites the community to its annual block party from 8 p.m.-late on Friday, Oct. 16. What once began as a celebration of new life for one of the oldest bars in Las Vegas has grown into an annual tradition of celebrating and honoring the community that keeps it alive.
The free bash for 21+ guests offers a night of live music, food, raffles, high energy and bevvies. Entertainment hosted by Coco Jenkins of Nothing To Do Las Vegas feature The Escapers, The Soft Echo and maybe a surprise guest or two. Outside, guests will enjoy sounds from a 2×4 DJ setup from local vinyl collectives. Inside, music will be played by DJ Copay, DJ Nuge, DJ Juju Man and more.

Hard Hat is home to Stay Tuned Burgers and its beloved smash burger. The juicy burger is served as a classic single ($9), double ($11), vegan single ($11) and vegan double ($14.50) – each seasoned, lathered in sauce and topped with house-made pickles and diced onion sandwiched between a soft potato bun. Grilled cheese ($5) and tots ($5) round out the meal.
Hard Hat Lounge continues to be a favorite Downtown spot serving locals, tourists and industry friends 24 hours a day since 1962. All beers, except specialty pours, are served in 22 oz mugs. Weekly activations:
- Happy Hour daily from 2-5 p.m. and 2-5 a.m.
- Industry Nights on Mondays with jazz band and 10% off industry bar tabs
- Karaoke Wednesdays from 10 p.m.-2 a.m.
- All day, every day $1 off drinks for construction workers
