Boyd Gaming officially launched the All-New Suncoast Hotel & Casino in Summerlin with a VIP celebration and media preview at the all-new BarSC Center Bar on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
The evening showcased the property’s top-to-bottom transformation, which was completed in about 2½ years, giving local leaders, guests and media an exclusive look at the reimagined resort spaces, upgraded gaming floor and F&B offerings.

Guests joined Boyd Gaming executive leadership for handcrafted cocktails and curated hors d’oeuvres – lobster rolls, dumplings, steak, crab salad lettuce cups, tuna on won ton chips, cheesecake, brown butter cake and more – in celebration of the off the Strip property’s next chapter.
Guest Mark Wahlberg joined Boyd Gaming and Suncoast executives to kick off the festivities and help welcome attendees into the newly transformed BarSC Center Bar while promoting his Flecha tequila partnership with Boyd Gaming.

Mixologist Kai, from Hawaii, made solid dirty, chocolate and apple martinis; the cocktail samples, including a maple bacon Old Fashioned, were tasty; and the small bites were delicious, presumably from property restaurants including A Taste of Asia, DuPar’s and the excellent (and underrated) William B’s Steakhouse.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. Once past the old and date exterior, The All-New Suncoast Hotel & Casino that awaits inside is beautiful, elegant, modern and shiny, and a return trip is planned for William B’s, Briggs Oyster Bar, A Taste of Asian DuPar’s and more.
