Las Vegas-based musician and organization founder encourages community to lace up and support youth music education
Local nonprofit organization Life By Music, founded by guitarist Ryan Patrick of popular rock band OTHERWISE, focuses on creating awareness of the positive impact the arts have on the emotional, mental, and social development of youth.
“Music had such an impact on my life that I wanted to share the same experience with kids that aren’t fortunate enough to have that privilege,” says Patrick. “With the Rock ‘N’ Run 5K, we hope to raise awareness about the importance of music in the lives of the younger generations, all while having fun and getting some cardio in!”
WHAT:
Tie up those running shoes and get your heartbeat racing for Life By Music’s first-ever Rock ‘N’ Run 5K at Sunset Park. Avid local runners can register now and participate in the race virtually or in-person.
Race participants are also welcome to “An Evening Concert on the Green feat. OTHERWISE and Friends” at the Las Vegas Golf Center, with Happy Hour served prior to the show. All ages are welcome to the evening concert.
COST:
Registration is $50 and includes a t-shirt, swag bag, one (1) raffle ticket and entry into the evening concert.* Sponsorship packages are also available starting at $250. To sign up or to make a donation, visit www.lifebymusic.org.
*One (1) high school student can receive admission into the race for free when parent registers online.
