Kline Veterans Fund is proud to announce its highly anticipated Stars & Strikes charity bowling tournament to be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Suncoast Bowling Center in Las Vegas.
This exciting event, presented by the Engelstad Foundation, raises crucial funds for programs and services that support high-risk veterans and military personnel in Southern Nevada.
Stars & Strikes promises an afternoon of fun and camaraderie, featuring a variety of activities suitable for all ages and abilities. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in friendly competition while making a significant impact on the lives of veterans who have bravely served our country.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Engelstad Foundation for this year’s Stars & Strikes event,” said Kline Veterans Fund Executive Director, Stephanie Helms. “Their commitment to supporting veterans aligns perfectly with our mission to provide essential resources and services to those who need them the most. We invite the community to join us for an Independence Day celebration that will make a real difference in the lives of our local heroes.”
All proceeds from the event will directly benefit comprehensive support programs, which include emergency housing and utility assistance, scholarships, and other critical resources tailored to the unique needs of high-risk veterans and military families in the region.
“Our veterans have given so much to our community and our country, so we are honored to support them via this event yet again,” said Kris Engelstad, trustee of the Engelstad Foundation. “Organizations like Kline Veterans Fund are looking out for our heroes and those most at-risk daily here in Las Vegas. We will continue to prioritize supporting organizations just like them, as they are making a meaningful impact.”
Additional tournament sponsors include Boyd Gaming, JPG Insurance, News 3, Huntington Group LLC, Renown Health, Amusement Exhibit & Event Services, Bighorn Law, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Republic Services, and the Lisa Wendel Memorial Foundation.
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of and giving back to those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. Together, we can strike out hardship and spare no effort in supporting our veterans.
