The first PrairieFire National SWAT Competition will take place at PrairieFire Nevada from October 9 – 12, 2024. This four-day event will bring together some of the best SWAT teams from across the nation to compete in challenging and intense stages.
Participants will compete for over $200,000 in cash and prizes. Registration fees will be waived this year in celebration of this inaugural event, which will become an annual competition.

The event will kick off with a Sponsor Showcase on October 9, which will run throughout the competition. Participants will have the opportunity to engage and network with key tactical industry sponsors. These sponsors will exhibit and demonstrate products that are crucial in enabling and supporting the SWAT mission.
In addition, esteemed instructors will conduct impactful training seminars to enrich each team’s knowledge and prepare them for the competition’s challenges. The competition itself will take place from October 10 -12. It will feature a total of 12 individual and team stages over the first two days, followed by a Super Team Final for the top 10 teams on the third day.
SWAT teams from law enforcement agencies across the country will demonstrate their skills and tactics in various scenarios. The competition will test their physical abilities, mental agility, and teamwork.
“This competition allows top SWAT teams to unite, not only for the sake of competition but also to exchange best practices and fortify the bonds within the law enforcement community”, stated PrairieFire Chairman General (Retired) Scott Miller. “PrairieFire takes pride in supporting our law enforcement and first responders.”
