Celebrate the Holiday with Classic Italian Traditions
Award-winning Siena Italian Trattoria offers Easter delights for brunch and dinner on Sunday, April 4. Menus feature classic and homemade dishes and desserts inspired by Italian traditions.
One choice for a fun breakfast includes the Pizza Eggs & I on a light and crispy crust, covered with fresh and smoked mozzarella cheese, sautéed rapini, and ground sausages, then topped with fresh sunny side up eggs.
For those craving pasta, the Paccheri Contadina combines sautéed Italian sausage and peppers with fresh herbs and tomato sauce adding a touch of cream tossed with extra-large tube-shaped pasta. Gluten free pasta is also available.
For those looking for a hearty Easter dish, the Lamb Osso Buco features a lamb shank braised with carrots, celery, onions, tomato, and demi-glace accompanied with mashed potatoes and asparagus.
Along with a variety of entrées, sides enhance the meal including a bread basket with preserves, pastries, waffles, fresh fruit, eggs any style, sausages, potatoes, sandwiches and paninis. Add coffees including cappuccino, mocha, and latte along with choices of orange juice, mimosas, and Bloody Marys. In addition to Siena’s extensive wine list and traditional cocktail offerings, the regular menu will also be available.
“Growing up in Italy, I have incredibly fond memories of our family’s Easter feasts,” said Siena’s owner and executive chef Giancarlo Bomparola. “I want to give our guests the same wonderful experience, and I look forward to sharing the flavors of home, whether they join us here or enjoy our dishes at home.”
For those planning their Easter celebrations at home this year, the adjacent Siena Deli features a wide selection of traditional Italian Easter breads and desserts. Colomba di Pasqua (Easter dove) is a bread shaped as a dove topped with powdered sugar and almonds. The Italian Easter cake, Pastiera Napoletana, offers a taste of Naples to invoke memories of Easter in Italy. Another popular treat is the Pane di Pasqua, a puff pastry in the shape of a braided bread with a decorated egg in the center. Italian specialties include imported cheeses and meats, dry pasta, pasta sauce, fresh baked breads, gelato, homemade desserts and more. Guests can call the deli to plan their order for the perfect Italian Easter meal.
Catering is also available for those who want to enjoy the holiday without the effort of planning, preparing, and serving the Easter meal.
