RTC Joins National Moment of Unity Honoring Lives Lost to COVID-19 Today, January 19

As many Americans are grieving the loss of family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to COVID-19, the Regional Transportation of Southern Nevada (RTC) is joining communities across the country for a National Moment of Unity. President-elect Joe Biden’s Presidential Inauguration Committee is encouraging participation by lighting up buildings and ringing church bells at 2:30 p.m. PST, 5:30 p.m. EST Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.

The RTC will participate in this national moment of remembrance, unity and pause for a one-minute bell ringing at its Bonneville Transit Center, 101 E. Bonneville Ave, at 2:30 p.m. Staff, contractors, customers, and media partners are invited to join in the event. Masks and social distancing will be required.

The event will also be broadcast live on YouTube for those who would like to observe, but are not able to participate in person.
