Celebrate with fun events, free passes and more!
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is pleased to relaunch its “Love Your Ride” campaign with celebrations dedicated to promoting kindness, respect, and a positive experience for transit employees and customers.
“We carry more than 153,000 passenger trips every day, so we must strive to ensure a positive experience for all. Riding the bus is a shared experience, and we believe all passengers deserve a safe and enjoyable journey,” said M.J. Maynard, CEO, RTC. “As we continue to enhance our transit system, we ask our customers to respect their ride, fostering a positive environment for everyone.”

To make Love Your Ride memorable, the RTC encourages riders to practice transit etiquette through eight small acts of love, including:
- Pack your patience: Remember, your driver is working hard to safely get you to the places and events that matter most.
- Can you hear that?: If listening to music, use headphones, keep your volume low, and keep phone calls to a minimum.
- Love is in the fare: Board quickly by having your ticket ready, using the new Tap & Go feature, or using the rideRTC app or for easy pass scanning.
- Kindness counts: Consider offering your seat to elderly, pregnant, or disabled passengers.
- Share a smile: A smile goes a long way! Share it with drivers, security officers, and fellow passengers.
- Hold the fries: Please avoid eating or drinking on the bus to maintain a clean environment.
- Stow your stuff: Be considerate; do not use multiple seats for bags.
- Don’t be rude, dude (Ride with Love): Everyone deserves a safe and comfortable ride. Threatening or attacking others is prohibited.
“Love Your Ride is all about creating a positive transit experience for everyone,” said Maynard. “Join us in spreading love, respect, and gratitude throughout the community.”
