Downtown Las Vegas’ open-air shopping center & entertainment center celebrates Pacific Island culture with a day filled with live music, drink specials and more, 5/29
Downtown Container Park, Las Vegas’ open-air marketplace and live entertainment venue, celebrates island culture and the Asian Pacific American community with a special edition of the park’s “Ohana Day” event! Native islanders and park guests are welcome to ‘hang loose’ while enjoying a variety of food and drink specials, live entertainment and more.
On Sunday, May 29th, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Downtown Container Park invites guests to catch island fever and celebrate their Asian Pacific American neighbors with “Ohana Day”! Container Park’s island-centric event celebrates the rich Pacific Islander culture that has migrated and grown within the Las Vegas Valley, fondly referred by Hawaiian locals as the ‘9th Island’.
Throughout the afternoon, guests can enjoy an array of entertainment including performances by local culture dancers from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and live music from ST1 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Patrons over the age of 21 can enjoy tropical libations around the park and ice-cold brew from Kona Brewing. Attendees can commemorate the day with a photo in the Kona Brewing Volkswagen Van or help fellow revelers cool off in the Kona Brewing dunk tank!
