The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is celebrating Mexican Independence Day and National Hispanic Heritage Month with unforgettable performances by Latin American favorites Emmanuel and Matute, pop-up mariachi bands, the groundbreaking live sporting event, Riyadh Season Noche UFC at Sphere; and special food and drink offerings.
Additionally, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas will turn exterior tower signs the colors of the Mexican Flag from sunset on Sept. 13, until 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 17.

EMMANUEL
Latin pop icon Emmanuel will bring his heart-pounding energy and legendary voice to The Venetian Theatre for two shows on September 14 and 15. Throughout his 40-year career, he has released 19 albums, sold millions worldwide, and garnered numerous awards. Known for his ballads, Emmanuel will be performing his hits and sharing his love for Mexican Independence Day weekend.
MATUTE
One of the most recognizable bands in Mexico, Matute, is coming to The Venetian Theatre on September 13, to relive the decade of decadence, playing the greatest hits from the ’80s. Their nostalgia-fueled journey features performances in both English and Spanish, with shows often described as a “musical time machine.” Matute has achieved significant international success, becoming one of Mexico’s most celebrated bands, with a strong following in the United States, Central America, and Spain.
RIYADH SEASON NOCHE UFC
Mexican Independence Day weekend will take center stage at Sphere at The Venetian Resort with the first live sporting event, Riyadh Season Noche UFC on September 14. This once-in-a-lifetime experience will pay tribute to Mexican culture and its contributions to combat sports.
Bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley will defend his title against top contender Merab Dvalishvili in the main event and in the women’s flyweight title bout Alexa Grasso will defend her title against Valentina Shevchenko.

The Grand Canal Shoppes will celebrate Mexican Independence Day throughout September with festive activities and performances. Starting September 1, guests can snap a selfie at a complimentary, Instagram-worthy photo backdrop featuring traditional Mexican decorative designs located near Smith & Wollensky.
On Sunday, September 15, guests can join the annual El Grito celebration, which honors Mexico’s fight for independence. The event kicks off in St. Mark’s Square at 11 p.m. with the traditional cry of “¡Viva México!” accompanied by lively mariachi bands and folkloric dancers. Eli Zamora, a standout contestant from Mexican and U.S. versions of ‘The Voice,’ will deliver a heartfelt Ranchero performance to commemorate the holiday.
