Lexicon Bank Joins Forces with JDRF to Fight Type 1 Diabetes
The Community Bank Will Serve as a Bronze Sponsor for their annual One Walk, Las Vegas, the largest fundraising event for type 1 diabetes in the world.
Lexicon Bank, Nevada’s community-focused banking partner, is proud to spotlight JDRF this August. Lexicon Bank will be supporting JDRF by serving as a bronze sponsor for their annual One Walk, Las Vegas. Additionally, team members from the Bank will participate in the mid-November walk.
The walk is part of the largest fundraising event for type 1 diabetes (T1D) in the world and will power more research, enable more advocacy and fund more support for the 1.6 million Americans living with T1D.
This partnership with JDRF is a part of the Lexicon Bank Community Spotlight program, a monthly initiative that highlights local non-profit organizations that are making a difference in the Southern Nevada community.
Through funding groundbreaking research, advocating for policies that accelerate access to new therapies, and providing resources for the T1D community, JDRF strives to improve lives today and tomorrow and accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat T1D and its complications.
