October 12th Event Supported by Lexicon Bank and Aunt Flow to Address Period Poverty in Nevada
Project Marilyn, a Nevada-based nonprofit dedicated to combating period poverty, is excited to announce its upcoming Period Packing Party in honor of Period Action Day on October 12th. The event, aimed at addressing the needs of those affected by period poverty, will take place at the facilities generously provided by Lexicon Bank and supported by Lexicon Bank and Aunt Flow.

Period Action Day is “A GLOBAL DAY OF ACTION TO END PERIOD POVERTY AND STIGMA THROUGH ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, AND SERVICE”. To support this initiative, Project Marilyn is organizing a Period Packing Party, where Lexicon Bank staff will come together to assemble period supply kits, each with enough supplies for an entire cycle.

- Community Involvement: Staff members from Lexicon Bank and members of the community will join forces to pack Project Marilyn period kits for distribution.
- Educational Component: Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about period poverty and how they can contribute to solving this critical issue.
