Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant to Serve Surf and Turf Specials for the 4th of July
Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant, Clique Hospitality’s immersive new Mexican restaurant at Durango Casino & Resort, will offer guests the best of the land and the sea with two surf & turf specials available all day on Thursday, July 4th.
To celebrate America’s independence, Mijo is serving two tremendous savory specials with the finest flavors of land and sea. The surf & turf special features a hearty 10-ounce, grilled, prime carne asada skirt steak and a buttery one-pound grilled lobster served alongside fresh grilled spring onions and jalapenos, all dressed in a sweet and spicy guajillo barbecue sauce and priced at $52.
Those looking to pair the special with something spicier can enjoy surf and turf flavors cocktail-style with the Michelada Papi, a michelada served alongside bacon-wrapped jalapeño shrimp and a side of carne seca, priced altogether at $32.
Guests can enjoy the specials from Mijo’s delightfully cozy 1,958 square-foot patio while sipping one of the restaurant’s delicious libations, including the Mijo Sangria made with Jefferson’s bourbon, blackberry, cinnamon and Altos Terrazas Malbec or Terlato pinot grigio; and the spicy mango margarita made with Ancho Reyes Chili Liqueur, Grand Marnier, Codigo Blanco tequila, mango juice and agave, priced at $17.
Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant is open from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
