Limoncello Fresh Italian Kitchen, located at 8245 W. Sahara Ave. at the Lakes near Summerlin, will uncork a selection of sommelier-select wines to be available by the glass in celebration of National Drink Wine Day, available exclusively on Saturday, Feb. 18.
Typically only available by the bottle, Limoncello will offer four sommelier selections to be ordered by the glass, including 2018 Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay, priced at $16; 2021 Venica Ronco del Cerò Sauvignon Blanc, priced at $16; 2020 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, priced at $40; and 2020 Gaja CáMarcanda Super Tuscany, priced at $28.
Limoncello offers an extensive selection of wines, thoughtfully curated by restaurant partner Giuseppe Bavarese.
The wine cellar boasts more than 3,000 bottles, with highlights including 2016 Produttori del Barbaresco, priced at $110; 2014 Maggie Hawk Pinot Noir, priced at $120; 2016 Remo Farina Amarone, priced at $95; and 2016 Duckhorn Merlot, priced at $99; among others.
Limoncello will also offer its complete menu of decadent dishes to pair with wine selections, including starters such as grilled Spanish octopus, served with micro greens, fingerling potatoes, red onion and roasted pepper sauce; caprese with fresh Buffalo mozzarella; and grilled Calabria sausage, served with sautéed rapini. Signature pasta dishes and entrées include house-made lobster ravioli, sautéed with shrimp and julienne zucchini with light brandy sauce; and oven-roasted Mediterranean sea bass, sautéed with white wine citrus sauce; among others.
