With the new stimulus package legislation comes new changes and updates including a new round of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funding for businesses, organizations, live venues, and non-profitorganizations.
Available to business owners, sole proprietors, independent contractors and others, Nevada Business Advisors is expanding its lender network by partnering with First Bank of the Lake, a community based lender in Missouri. Through an agreement with First Bank of the Lake, Nevada Business Advisors’ is able to offer businesses in the state of Nevada and throughout the United States an opportunity in applying for the second draw of the program before the SBA portal opens to all banks and lenders. Effective today, only community basedlenders are allowed to start submitting applications.

Some of the common reasons that many businesses were unable to secure funding through the program in 2020included lack of proper documentation, no banking relationship, insufficient financial resources and misinformation.
