Carson Kitchen is known for its creative comfort food using seasonal ingredients and with a new season upon us, that means a menu change.
Chef and Owner Cory Harwell have developed new menu items now available at the Downtown Las Vegas location.
“Summer is my favorite menu of the year. It allows me access to wonderfully bright and vibrant flavors and is the perfect time of year for spice and flavor without being heavy-handed,” said Harwell. “We continue to celebrate our menu philosophy of reimagining dishes our guests are already familiar with or introducing new ingredients by putting them in familiar vehicles, such as the grilled oysters, hot dog burnt ends, chip butty, shirt rib, and cold carbonara.”
Some of the new menu selections include:
- Hotdog burnt ends with barbecue glaze, and high brow ranch($14)
- Crawfish tacos with tasso ham slaw ($14)
- Salmon served with a mango-lime salsa ($25)
- Watermelon & feta with cucumber and white balsamic vinaigrette ($14)
- Cold carbonara with pancetta and pecorino cheese ($16)
- BLT flatbread with teriyaki bacon and wasabi aioli ($16)
- Berry posset with Moscato blueberries ($11)
Each of Carson Kitchen’s team members created and submitted original cocktail recipes, which were collectively narrowed down to the top five that join the program of thoughtfully crafted libations, including “What Is That, Velvet?,” made with gin, velvet falernum, fresh lime, almond, allspice, and pineapple; and “Shandy Cheeks,” featuring peach vodka, lemon, strawberry, and lager beer.
Carson Kitchen is open for dine-in Monday through Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-10 p.m. featuring the brunch menu from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Curbside pickup is also available.
