Celebrate Mother’s Day at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa

Celebrate Mother’s Day at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa on Sunday, May 8 with delicious pre-fixe menus served all day Baja Miguel’s, Coronado Café, Don Vito’s, Garden Buffet, Primarily Prime Rib and Silverado Steakhouse. Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made online at southpointcasino.com/dining.

Baja Miguel’s: available from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., $25.95 per person

  • First course: Ensalada Picada de Mama, chopped seasonal lettuce, diced tomatoes, jicama, black beans and crumbled Oaxaca cheese with Rancherito dressing and crisp tortilla chips or Chicken Quesadilla, pulled chicken with cheddar cheese folded in a grilled tortilla with mango Pico de Gallo and sour cream or Shrimp and Sweet Corn Tortilla Soup, a traditional favorite with shrimp and sweet corn
  • Second course: The Three Sisters, shredded chicken, sauteed shrimp and carne asada in a soft or crisp tortilla shell, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, grated cheddar cheese, chipotle cream and salsa picante or Tierra Y Mar, seared 4 oz filet of beef and 4 oz fillet of salmon over a bed of sauteed onions, nopales and tomatoes drizzled with avocado cream, served with Spanish rice and fresh vegetables
  • Third course: Grilled Fresh Pineapple, charred cinnamon dusted pineapple slice topped with pineapple sorbet, caramel sauce, chopped pistachio nuts and whipped cream or Chocolate Molten Cake, vanilla cream sauce with fresh strawberries or tea or coffee
  • Choice of a margarita or a glass of wine for guests 21+
  • Regular menu will also be available. Margarita Meal Deals will not be available.

Coronado Café: availablefrom 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $17.95 per person.











  • First course: Cream of Asparagus Soup or Mother’s Day Salad, bibb lettuce, mandarin oranges, toasted walnuts, grape tomatoes and citrus dressing or Fresh Fruit Salad with yogurt and coconut topping.
  • Second course: Chicken Oscar, grilled chicken breast with crab meat and asparagus tips topped with Hollandaise sauce with rice pilaf and green beans or Medallions of Beef Coronado, topped with sauteed mushrooms, tomatoes, chives and Bearnaise sauce over merlot reduction with roasted chateau potatoes and green beans or Monte Cristo Sandwich with Fruit Cup, double layered sandwich of ham, turkey and Swiss cheese, dipped in egg batter then grilled golden brown with strawberry preserve and powdered sugar
  • Third course: Strawberry cream pie or Pear Belle Helene, poached pear over vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and chopped nuts or tea or coffee
  • Choice of a cocktail or a glass of wine for guests 21+
  • Regular menu and Chinese menu will also be available.

Don Vito’s: available from 3—9  p.m. for $47 per person.







  • First Course: Insalata di Mamma, baby lettuce with crisp pancetta, heirloom tomatoes, crushed pistachios and limoncello vinaigrette or Don Vito’s Flatbread, pesto alfredo with rotisserie chicken, sundried tomatoes and mozzarella cheese or Seafood Cannelloni, shrimp and crab lobster sauce folded in pasta squares, glazed with alfredo cream
  • Second course: Pistachio Branzino, pistachio crusted and pan seared in butter over saffron risotto, drizzled with white balsamic glaze and tomato Florentine or “Nonna’s” Fettuccini, sliced chicken breast over house made fettuccine in light basil cream with Julienne of zucchini, sliced mushrooms diced tomatoes and green peas, served with Parmesan crostini or Tre Signora, seared medallion of beef with grilled stuffed shrimp and herb crusted scallop spring vegetable ratatouille and farfalle Pomerado
  • Third course: Stacy’s Own Fresh Apple Torta, calvados cream or Sicilian Strawberry Shortcake, strawberries macerated in orange liqueur, oven fresh sponge cake with whipped cream or White Chocolate and Hazelnut Mousse, with fresh strawberries or tea or coffee
  • Choice of a bottle of Camel Road Chardonnay or Carmel Road Pinot Noir for every two guests 21+.
  • Regular menu will be available.

Garden Buffet Brunch: available from8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $24.95 for card members or $27.95 for non-members.







  • Full breakfast selection: Freshly cooked omelets, South Point eggs benedict, raisin bread French toast, Smoked salmon and bagels, New York style cheese blitzes with blueberry sauce
  • Garden Fresh Salad Bar: The season’s finest tossed and house made salads, seasonal fruits with yogurt topping, cream of asparagus soup, Italian wedding day soup, peel and eat shrimp and shrimp cocktail
  • Carving Station: Nebraska prime rib of beef, roast leg of spring lamb, lemon pepper rotisserie chicken
  • Also serving: Golden fried shrimp, seared salmon with basil chardonnay cream cabernet braised beef tenderloin tips, wild mushroom pappardelle with asparagus and peas, turkey scaloppini, wild turkey Dijon cream, black bean calamari, honey and almond glazed chicken
  • Dessert: 12 flavor gelato and sorbet bar, raspberry cupcakes, freshly baked gateau’s, pies and French pastries
  • Guests 21+ can enjoy bottomless champagne, mimosas and Bloody Mary’s.

Garden Buffet Dinner: available from4—9 p.m. for $24.95 for card members or $27.95 for non-members.







  • Action Garden Fresh Salad Bar: The season’s finest freshly tossed and house made salads, seasonal fruits with yogurt topping, cream of asparagus soup, mothers chicken soup
  • Carving Station:  Nebraska prime rib of beef, roast leg of spring lamb, lemon pepper rotisserie chicken
  • Also serving: Mongolian grill cooked to order, Kung Pao calamari, shrimp bourbon glazed pork loin rolled in cranberry dressing, cabernet braised beef tenderloin tips, golden fried shrimp, wild mushroom pappardelle with green peas, turkey scaloppini, wild turkey Dijon cream, chicken Angelo, seared salmon with chimichurri pesto
  • Dessert: Dessert: 12 flavor gelato and sorbet bar, raspberry cupcakes, freshly baked gateau’s, pies, French pastries and “crepes suzette”, cooked to order.
  • Guests 21+ can enjoy bottomless champagne, wine and beer

Primarily Prime Rib: available from2 — 9 p.m. for $41 per person.

  • First course: Traditional Shrimp Cocktail, served with cocktail sauce or Cream of Asparagus Soup with crème fraiche or Mother’s Salad Bowl, seasonal greens with sundried cherries, apples, walnuts, grape tomatoes with a walnut dressing or Chicken and Mushroom Au Gratin, poached chicken and sliced mushrooms, glazed with alfredo sauce with crisp parmesan crostini
  • Second course: Prime Rib of Nebraska Beef, 10 oz dry aged, slowly cooked for full flavor or Mediterranean Branzino, seared with shrimp, roast tomatoes, artichoke hearts and capers, saffron butter sauce or Twin Medallions of Beef, lightly seasoned, pan seared on merlot demi, topped with Chimichurri sauce or Seafood Duo, grilled herb crusted halibut and cognac sauteed shrimp topped with tomato and chive relish. All dishes are served with baked, chateau or Yukon gold potatoes and broccolini.
  • Dessert: A bowl of fresh strawberries with brown sugar and whipped cream or White Chocolate Grand Marnier Mousse, finished with raspberry sauce or Warm Mini Doughnuts, with chocolate sauce and whipped cream for dipping or Victoria Sponge Cake, light cake with vanilla cream and raspberry jam, fresh raspberry and whipped cream or tea or coffee.
  • Choice of a bottle of Camel Road Chardonnay or Carmel Road Pinot Noir for every two guests 21+.
  • Regular menu will be available.

Silverado Streak House: available from4 — 10 p.m. for $62 per person.

  • First course: Grilled Asparagus and Prosciutto Crostini, citrus cream or Roast Baby Portobellini Mushrooms, with roast garlic ricotta cheese, diced seasonal squash and roast pine nuts, drizzled with chardonnay butter sauce or Grilled and Chilled Prawn Cocktail, on baby spinach with Remoulade sauce
  • Second course: Cream of Parsnip Soup, with crème fraiche or Spring Salad, seasonal baby lettuce, Campari tomatoes, avocado and charred tomato vinaigrette or Silverado Dinner Salad, tossed tableside
  • Third course: Medallion of Beef Patricia, broiled 8 oz filet stuffed with back fin crab meat then topped with Mornay sauce or Roasted Spring Chicken, served in a lightly spicy tomato broth with parmesan dumplings and spring vegetables or Hazelnut and Thyme Crusted Branzino, pan seared with Parisienne potatoes and green beans
  • Dessert: Blueberry Sour Cream Tart or S’mores Parfait, childhood memories to enjoy in a glass, Warm Cherry Strudel, with vanilla bean ice cream or tea or coffee
  • Choice of a bottle of Camel Road Chardonnay or Carmel Road Pinot Noir for every two guests 21+.
