Three generations. Two brothers. One Steakhouse. David Morton and Michael Morton’s One Steakhouse will capture the excitement of the much-anticipated new Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, opening Jan. 15, 2021. Replacing the brothers’ first joint venture, MB Steak, One Steakhouse is a culmination of their combined life experiences and training, from family meals to following in the footsteps of their father, legendary restaurateur Arnie Morton, and their grandfather, Morton C. Morton.
“Virgin Hotels Las Vegas brings to life the unmatched innovation behind the company’s iconic brand, and we are thrilled to be a part of it,” said Michael. “We have been working closely with our new partners to create One Steakhouse as a place that’s in harmony with our incredible new surroundings.”
“As the property is in the midst of an exciting evolution, we felt inspired to do the same,” said David. “One Steakhouse will have the energy and vibrancy of the new property reflected in the design and menu.”
Executive Chef Patrick Munster, who remains at the helm of the kitchen, has developed a new menu that channels One Steakhouse’s singular taste, presentation and service. The design upgrades connect One Steakhouse with the synergy of the entirely redesigned hotel with an open, expanded bar lounge, where the energy will enliven the intimate dining room built for fun and memorable dinners. The upper level will offer a hip, social setting to mingle and take in sporting events on an LED video wall.
“The Morton family pedigree is best in class,” said Richard “Boz” Bosworth, President and CEO of JC Hospitality LLC, owner of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. “To have them remain with us on this project and invest in changes to the venue to reflect the evolution to Virgin Hotels Las Vegas – shows their commitment to the brand and our guests.”
More information and reservations will soon be available. The restaurant will be open starting at 5 p.m. daily and will offer a private valet.
