Industry veteran will help oversee growing number of HOA communities transitioning away from developer control
CAMCO (Complete Association Management Company) of Nevada recently announced the promotion of Cyndi Koester to Vice President of Portfolio Services.
Koester previously served as Division Director of CAMCO’s portfolio division, a position she held since 2019. In that role, she worked to maintain customer satisfaction for all communities. In her new role, she will oversee non-developer-controlled HOA communities as well as outside established communities.
CAMCO’s portfolio division has been expanding rapidly with more newer Valley communities emerging from developer control. Koester will also educate homeowners and board members in these communities on the laws and processes that govern community associations in Nevada.
Koester holds numerous industry certifications and designations, including: Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), American Management Specialist (AMS), and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM).
“I’m very excited to take on this new role for CAMCO,” Koester said, “and to help us continue to grow our presence in Nevada. Sharing my knowledge with community members and boards has always been a part of my work that I’ve really enjoyed. I look forward to educating homeowners and board members in this new role.”
Koester joined CAMCO in 2018 as a community manager and was quickly promoted to regional director. She has more than 40 years of experience in the HOA industry after beginning her career as a receptionist. She ran a management company in Orange County, CA and brings experience in trade organizations that certify managers. For nearly 20 years, she has been a national faculty member—educating community management professionals—for the Community Associations Institute (CAI).
CAMCO is a full-service management company that provides management services to the Homeowners Association (HOA) industry. CAMCO manages communities throughout Nevada. Learn more at camconevada.com.
