12 local chefs join together to prepare a special Thanksgiving meal for The LGBTQIA+ Center of Southern Nevada, serving the LGBTQ community of Nevada.
Each year, food enthusiast, comedian and writer, Jason Harris, organizes this special day with several returning participating Chefs to ensure the community who may have food insecurity is supported.
In the past, he has also coordinated meals for the Caridad Gardens.
The meals to feed 100 patrons will be delivered and served at Noon on Thanksgiving Day at the non-profit organization.
“When people think of food-hungry groups, the LGBTQ community is often not considered. It’s our opportunity to not only feed people, but offer a communal meal to people who otherwise might not have one on Thanksgiving. The chefs are always very giving and willing to participate so doing this is just something we can do to help put smiles on people’s faces, food in their bellies and hopefully give the diners a memorable experience.” – Jason Harris, Food Writer
Food from well-known local chefs included the traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce.

- Cantina Tequila – Traditional Elote with Charred Corn, chipotle mayo, chorizo and cotija
- Adam Rios, Al Solito Posto – Fall panzanella salad with baby kale, red onion, apple, dried cranberries, croutons, pumpkin seeds, toasted pecans, and goat cheese tossed with an apple cider vinaigrette, Focaccia bread with roasted garlic and herb oil
