Earlier in the week, Bella Vita at the District in Henderson hosted an honorary luncheon with more than 90 Purple Heart veterans, veteran organizations (Blue Star Mothers; Vietnam Veterans of America 1076, Black Mountain Marine Corp Detachment) and hundreds of guests.
Dignitaries including State Senator Carrie Buck, Henderson Mayor Debra March, City Council, City of Henderson, Michelle Romero and more are also joining in the celebration. Both Bella Vita Owner, Sergio Montegrande and City Council, Michelle Romero received an award.
The Mayor shared her story about her son and the military and the ongoing theme was more support and services for the community; especially in mental health for veterans.
Donations for Purple Heart 730 and Voice of the Vet are being collected for the veterans organizations.
Additionally, tonight, Saturday, October 9, Bella Vita at Blue Diamond hosts Bella Vita: After Dark, beginning at 9:30pm, featuring performances by DJ Skribble and Eddie Mac – it’s not just a restaurant it’s a lifestyle!
