Mark your calendar now to bring your family to a city of Las Vegas park near you for free pop-up fun. The first events are this Friday and Saturday, Sept. 10-11. There will be arts, crafts, sports, field day games and fun STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) activities led by Parks and Recreation staff.

Woofter Family Park, 1600 Rock Springs Drive – 2 to 4 p.m. the second Friday of each month – Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12.
Ansan Sister City Park, 7801 Ducharme Ave. – 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the second Saturday of each month – Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13.
Baker Park, 1010 E. St. Louis Ave. – 3 to 5 p.m. the third Friday of each month – Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Nov. 19.
Wayne Bunker Family Park, 7351 W. Alexander Road – 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the third Saturday of each month – Sept. 18, Oct. 16, Nov. 20.
Clarence Ray Memorial Park, 951 N. Tonopah Drive – 3 to 5 p.m. the fourth Friday of each month – Sept. 24, Oct. 22.
Sunny Springs Park, 7620 Golden Talon Ave. – 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the fourth Saturday of each month – Sept. 25, Oct. 23, Nov. 27.
