Variety of Fun at Vegas Stand Up & Rock

We wanted to share the lineup for Vegas Stand Up & Rock inside the OYO Hotel & Casino. This month the showroom will host a variety of entertainment, from burlesque to poetry to hard-core rock, making it a unique way for guests to spend their evening. The full lineup is found below:

Thursday, July 11 at 9:30 p.m.: Mollie De Menthe Presents: A Night of Burlesque

Mollie De Menthe Presents: A Night of Burlesque Show will feature a range of cabaret and burlesque acts to entice the eyes and ears. Resident stars Mollie De Menthe, Victoria Jade and Adelia Adelaide bring several fresh acts to the stage making it a burlesque show that is nothing short of a dazzling celebration of artistry and allure. This month guests can enjoy the performances of Zelda Fairfax, Brandi Glass, Yzma Mind, Victoria Jade, Lady Misdemeanor, Dani Hahn, Nutty Bolts, Kitten: Valentino X and Adelia Adelaide.

• Saturday, July 13 at 9 p.m.: HIGH PRIEST featuring Noize Complaint

HIGH PRIEST pays tribute to the English heavy metal band, Judas Priest. Formed by devoted Judas Priest fans, High Priest celebrates the band’s legacy with performances of the band’s explosive songs, like “Breaking the Law,” “Painkiller,” and “Living After Midnight.” Joining them on the stage is Noize Complaint, a London, Ontario-based progressive metal band making noise with hard lyrics and equally great melodies.

• Wednesday, July 17 at 7 p.m.: Poetry in Motion

Poetry in Motion presents “Bring the Heat” Summer Jam Slam. Hosted and curated by Sadie the “Poetry Princess” with DK Grey, TruSarah, Le Soul and Kreativekenn. This event celebrates beautiful poetry with music, drinks, games and local vendors. Demetri Manabat is a rising word artist born and raised in Las Vegas. Manabat is a 12-time Slam Champion and has performed across the nation. Upworthy and the Associated Press have recognized him for his work and has been featured on the prestigious Voices in Power stage. He has accumulated over 15 million views on his personal social media platforms for his poetry.

• Friday, July 19 at 9 p.m.: Byron Nemeth Band, Throckmore and DoubleWide

Byron Nemeth, a multi-instrumentalist and hard rock aficionado, has done tours and taken part in many stellar releases to date. Throughout his career, Byron has opened for notable bands such as Metal Church, Doro Pesch, Warrant, Winger, RATT, Y&T, Dream Theater, Rick Emmett, Vicious Rumors, Helix, Keel, Yes, Zack Wylde/Black Label Society, Richie Kotzen, The Sweet, Lynch Mob, Pat Travers Band and many more. 

Hailing from Las Vegas, Throckmore separates themselves from the norm by covering a mix of hard rock classics, 90’s heavy metal and modern radio hits. The band has also incorporated original songs into their sets.

In 2017, two musicians joined forces to form DoubleWide, a band that skillfully blends the nostalgic tunes of their upbringing with their personal touch to the hard rock sound. Since its inception, DoubleWide has taken its hard rock fusion stages across the West Coast and beyond.
