Plena Libre kicks off first night of a two-night concert series presented by City of Henderson
Plena Libre, a four-time Grammy- and Latin Grammy-nominated Afro-Rican band, is performing Saturday, Aug. 14 at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater in downtown Henderson. This is the first performance in the City of Henderson’s August Nights Summer Concert Series.
Travelling across the Caribbean from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Plena Libre combines Afro-Puerto Rican rhythms with other Caribbean sounds resulting in an electrifying performance.
The August Nights Summer Concert Series presented by the City of Henderson is a live two-night concert series featuring sizzling Latin music from acclaimed musicians including Plena Libre on Aug. 14 and Kiki Valera y Su Son Cubano on Aug. 28.
Both concerts begin at 8 p.m. at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater. Tickets for each concert are $5 and can be purchased in advance online at cityofhenderson.com. Seating is first-come, first-served.
