Hearts Alive Village Las Vegas, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded to help rescue animals from an overcrowded shelter system, announces the opening of its high-quality, low-cost wellness clinic. The nonprofit offers the highest-quality veterinary services including spay and neuter, microchipping, surgeries, vaccinations, wellness visits, geriatric care, deworming, and more.
Hearts Alive Village’s wellness clinic is led by licensed veterinary professionals Ken Sieranski, DVM, MS; Casey Miller, DVM, MS; Lindsay Burgoon, DVM; Sabrina Hutchinson, LVT, ET; and Nicki Bennett, LVT. The clinic offers a full range of affordable services to make preventative care, sick care, and surgical options accessible for every pet parent, regardless of their financial situation. The clinic focuses on the most vulnerable animals and their pet parents in the community.
“It is more important than ever that Hearts Alive Village steps into the medical sphere and provides a low-cost option to owners. We hope to avoid increased shelter intake and economic euthanasia of our beloved pets and look forward to keeping animals with the families that love them most,” said Christy Stevens, Founder and Executive Director of Hearts Alive Village.
The wellness clinic provides quality one-on-one consultation with a veterinarian, where owners are able to ask questions and choose healthcare options that best fit their pet’s needs and their budget. The medical team adopts a holistic approach to care for each individual animal including discussions about preventative healthcare, pet safety, nutrition, husbandry, and behavioral health. In addition, the veterinary team is trained in the latest veterinary medical techniques including reduced time under anesthesia and the use of smaller incisions.
“There are too many animals in our community who suffer and die from easily preventable diseases such as Canine Parvovirus and Feline Panleukopenia,” says Dr. Ken Sieranski, Medical Director of Hearts Alive Village. “Our goal is to provide low-cost care to keep these pets healthy and with their families”.
Hearts Alive Village’s clinic is located at 3250 N. Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89130. The clinic’s hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Appointments can be made by calling 702-780-0002.
