With Las Vegas flights scheduled to hit the tarmac in early 2021, Zero Gravity Corporation (ZERO-G)is offering a glimpse at their decked-out aircraft on September 25 and 26. Take a peek at G-FORCE ONE®, the retro-fitted Boeing 727 used to send adventure enthusiasts soaring through the cabin like a certified astronaut. Media are invited to tour the grounded aircraft and hear from the talented pilots that maneuver the weightless playground.
As the consumer space race heats up and interest in commercial space travel deepens, the flights offered by ZERO-G continue to be the only FAA-approved opportunities in the U.S. for individuals to experience true weightlessness without actually going to space. At a fraction of the cost of consumer space flights in development, ZERO-G is paving the way for the general public to enjoy the wonders of interstellar travel.
About the experience:
Each ZERO-G mission is designed for maximum fun. After a brief introductory course, flyers board the aircraft, that uses parabolic arcs to make achieving weightlessness easier than ever. The aircraft’s interior is a zero-gravity wonderland, complete with padded floors and walls and video cameras to record the unforgettable moments. When experiencing weightlessness, guests can fly through the plane as they pour water in the air and watch the droplets hover before their eyes, release a handful of M&M’s to chase them down like a game of human Pac-Man, and enjoy 10-times more hang-time than the world’s best basketball player.
