Two-day program will be held July 12-13 at Nehemiah Ministries and the Tyrone Thompson Student Union CSN North Las Vegas campus.
In honor of Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, Las Vegas-based, Solutions of Change, will host its 7th annual Healing to Health conference on Saturday, July 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Tyrone Thompson Student Union at the CSN North Las Vegas campus, 3200 E. Cheyenne Avenue.
There will also be a prayer and worship event on Friday, July 12 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Nehemiah Ministries, 3606 North Rancho Drive, #144.
This year’s “Identity Confirmed” conference aims to shed light on the power of being rooted in faith while actively working on mental health. The Saturday full-day conference will include keynote speakers, workshops and breakout sessions that cover mental health coping skills, faith-based perspectives, and more.
Breakfast and lunch will be served. New this year, the event will be able to accommodate up to 30 youths (ages 13-17) and 30 Spanish-only/Spanish-preference attendees.
