¡Viva la fiesta! Celebrate Mexican Independence Day with a tequila-fueled bash at Borracha Mexican Cantina, located at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson.
On Saturday, Sept. 16, the beloved Mexican restaurant will host an epic party in honor of the holiday with a live mariachi band, DJ and tequila specials from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Borracha’s lively atmosphere will be elevated by the festive tunes of a live mariachi band from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by the dynamic beats of a DJ from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Guests can enjoy the music while savoring Borracha’s tequila specials, including Volcan Blanco and Volcan Reposado shots, priced at $13 each; half-priced Volcan De Mi Tierra X.A shots for $16 each; the spicy paloma featuring Volcan Blanco, Ancho Reyes Aperol liqueur and Fever Tree pink grapefruit tonic and lime, priced at $17; and the Xtra Caliente, crafted with Volcan X.A tequila, lime juice, agave syrup, cilantro leaves and fresno chili pepper, priced at $19.

Patrons can also enjoy libations from Borracha’s menu of signature margaritas, such as the mango margarita, made with Volcan tequila, mango, fresh lime juice and agave nectar, priced at $15. Borracha also offers all of its signature margaritas in 32-ounce bowl, priced at $45.
Borracha’s full menu of Mexican fare will also be available on Mexican Independence Day, which is highlighted by shareable plates, inventive burritos, delectable tacos and other signature entrées.
Guest favorites include the braised short rib birria topped with pickled onion and cotija cheese, priced at $32; grilled chicken tacos, topped with marinated achiote, cheddar jack cheese, cilantro and jalapeño aioli, priced at $17; slow-roasted pork carnitas, served with guacamole, green tomatillo sauce and soft corn tortillas, priced at $23.
