Concierge Wellness & Aesthetics, located at 4035 El Capitan Way in Las Vegas, welcomes long-time Las Vegas Valley physician, Dr. Elena Garcia, MD, to its team. Dr. Garcia has practiced medicine in the Las Vegas Valley for 20 years and was attracted to the Concierge Wellness model because she felt she could spend more time with patients and better serve their needs.
“This model allows for more flexibility with the time I have with patients and it gives me more time to get to know them,” she said. “That way I can better understand what’s driving their disease process, the choices they’re making in life, their diet, their socio-economic structure, so that I can develop a good treatment plan for them.”
Dr. Garcia graduated from the Medical College at the University of Wisconsin and began practicing in Las Vegas after she completed her residency in the city in 2005.
Having come from the traditional model of primary care medicine, the Concierge Wellness model, where patients pay an annual fee for unlimited access to primary care services, also allows the seasoned physician to focus more on prevention and early intervention.
